Electricity

Currently, KTIS Group has electricity and steam generation units, using bagasse which is a by-product from the sugar manufacturing process as the main raw material. The generated steam and electricity are sold to the 3 sugar mills in the KTIS Group, and the remaining electricity will be sold to the PEA.

Additionally, KTIS Group has established a biomass power plant with a capacity of about 60 MW under the name of Kaset Thai Bio Power Co., Ltd., in 2010, which is currently still under construction.
